Fayez Ahmmad
Fayez Ahmed Member, Bangladesh Public Service Commission. Earlier, he was a senior secretary in the Ministry of Public Administration. He has served as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Environment and Forests and Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Prior to joining the Ministry of Public Administration, he was the Secretary, Department of Health Education and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Primary and educational life
Fayez Ahmed was born in an aristocratic Muslim family in Vaila village of Patuakhali Sadar upazila of Patuakhali district. He completed his studies in Patuakhali. He holds a Bachelor's (Honors) degree in Agriculture from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University and a Master's degree in Government and Politics from Dhaka University. [1]
Career
Fayez Ahmed joined the Bangladesh Public Service Commission on January 20, 2020. Earlier, he was a senior secretary in the Ministry of Public Administration. [2]
He started his career in 1968 in BCS (Agriculture) cadre and in 1968 in BCS (Administration) cadre. He served as Hon'ble Minister of State, Assistant Private Secretary, Ministry of Textiles and Private Secretary from 1992-2-2001. He was the Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Hossainpur Upazila of Kishoreganj District from 2002-2006 and Deputy Commissioner of Rajbari and Chittagong Districts from 2009-2002. He has served as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Environment and Forests and Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Prior to joining the Ministry of Public Administration, he was the Secretary, Department of Health Education and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. He has held various important posts in the BCS (Agriculture) cadre and BCS (Administration) cadre for the last 33 years in the Secretariat and Field Administration of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
Family life
His wife Dr. Tahmina Sultana is the Deputy Director of the Department of Health. He is the father of one son and one daughter.
